Ali Russell called the Manchester United game "arguably one of the biggest occasions in the club's history." qprreport.blogspot.com/2008/11/so....li-russell.html I obviously disagreed: So Try to list some of the biggest games in our history. (And I don't think Wolves vs Liverpool counts!) I'll start off with the 1968 final game of the season away to Aston Villa. (QPR needed to win to assure promotion).

I define biggest is when we win somehting important. So the League Cup final win still holds for me. Our history is getting somewhere weve never been. Getting to cup Final Getting to first div and staying thirteen years. Finishing 5th one year. Getting out of 1st division by beating Sheff W. The game last year when it was announced that we finally had masses of money after years of debt and having to sell our best players to stay solvent. Today is not the biggest game in our history. .. and of course reports mention of getting out of first div 68 add getting out of 3rd div south 1948.

1967 League Cup Final for me and there are not many of us left that actually went to it. Still have the scarf, prog and ticket from the day. Birmingham away in the first semi was pretty cool also. A memory that will stay with me until I die. Oh and standing up the Holt End and beating Villa 2-1 in 68 Happy days

That opening game in the First Division against Leicester City at Loftus Road, August 1969. Just an incredible feeling that QPR were in that Division.

That opening game in the First Division against Leicester City at Loftus Road, August 1969. Just an incredible feeling that QPR were in that Division. I remember joining a long line waiting for the turnstyles in sa road to open, looking up and seeing the brand new sar stand, and a feeling of being very proud of how far our little club had come.

And there were probably a few "big occasions" for QPR in those years between 1882 and 1967!
