QPR in Division One, in their second season back. Started the season with Gordon Jago and Terry Venables. Ended the season with Dave Sexton and Don Masson.
And throughout the season, Stan Bowles in and out....
Basically the same team that took QPR out of the Second Division...and that the following season won the First Championship (until robbed)

Before start of season, David Webb came in.

Out went Terry Venables, Ian Evans, Terry Mancini - and the last "Survivor" from the 67 Cup Final, Tony Hazell.

In came Don Rogers and Don Shanks and most importantly, Don Masson

Parkes
Clement Webb McLintock Gillard
Masson Francis Leach
Thomas Bowles Givens
Sub: Rogers (or Beck/Shanks/Abbott)

Also in the Reserves: Pritchett, Teale and Danny Westwood

Amazingly-pathetic coverage in the "Potted History of QPR" Online
"...Dave Sexton became managed on 17th October 1974. In 1975/76 QPR were Division One Runners-up - one point behind Liverpool and the following season reached the UEFA Cup Quarter Finals at their first attempt. "

Stoke against QPR from 1974 - From August 1974

Could be wrong, but I don't think previously posted this one.

Checking the records: Was our first home game of the season, after away draw at Sheff Ut and beating Leeds.

Gordon Jago was still manager. Terry Venables was still playing (although absent for this game). Stoke had Hurst and Hudson in their team

QPR team: Parkes:
Clement Webb Mancini Gillard
Beck Francis Busby
Thomas Givens Bowles -
Sub: Leach
