MICHAEL Bryan may not be a very well recognised name to many Watford fans, but the 19-year-old ex-QPR schoolboy has an interesting story to tell.
As he returns from his first ever pre-season tour with a professional Football Club, Bryan will be slowly getting used to life in the fast lane.
He said: "I really enjoyed going to Spain with the other lads - as it was my first pre-season tour and because it was in Barcelona and I'd never been there before."
After scoring in Watford's opening pre-season match against Boreham Wood on July 11, the winger is only just beginning to take stock of what this next year could have in store for him.
"I was a bit shocked when Malky told me on the Friday that I was going to start at Boreham Wood the next day.
"It was great experience to get to play with the first team players for the first time.
"I was very excited when we got to the ground and I went out on the pitch and saw the crowd.
"It was probably the biggest crowd I've played in front of and to score was amazing.
"I was very happy!" admitted the youngster.

Bryan has had a few ups and downs in his short career so far, having been scouted at just 10-years-old by QPR for their Centre of Excellence, Bryan was then dropped six years later by the west London club.
He came for a trial at the Hornets shortly after, and was later signed up for the Vicarage Road Academy side. The wide man had already enrolled at college to start a BTEC National Diploma in Sport - Performance and Excellence.
Bryan considers himself in the best company at Watford's London Colney training ground, with Academy success stories in the shape of Lloyd Doyley, Ross Jenkins, Richard Lee and Adrian Mariappa to look up to.
He commented: "I'm looking to follow in the footsteps of Lloyd and Ross; working my way up through the ranks like they have.
"I'll hopefully be playing with them regularly in the first team as well soon.

"I want to get into the squad on a regular basis; and see where that takes me.
"I just want to make my debut - usually it's in the Carling Cup when the youngsters make their first starts, so I'll definitely be looking towards achieving that soon, and then kick on from there."
