Fact was Dowie was highly influenced and put into a corner. yet no sympathy. Funny that.
Fact was Sousa had total control, so much so he let Ledesma go and sent Flavio's prodigal son Parejo back to Reall Madrid, sure he let Tomassi go as well. Not influenced or challenged at all.
Of course after not winning a game for about 6 or 7, views were expressed about formations, but Flavio owns the club and has every right in my opinion to express a view for attacking football, as long as he is not picking the team.

I think there was quite a bit of sympathy for Dowie being axed.
Thinking it was stupid, premature, whatever.
But, it was a "normal" sacking. Sousa's was not.

Obviously right thing to do, as the club would not have a leg to stand on if it was unfair dismissal (or anything like that), as Paulo would have taken them to the cleaners.
Nice to see him back in full employment and like everyone will be interesting to see how he gets on.
Swansea will be bottom half, as they don;t have enough quality, after having to sell there best players.

YES OR NO? |

Here is a list of Wolves fixture last year including what team they put out. Perhaps you could find me three games in a row that they played the same team

Just to be clear and that I'm not misunderstanding you: Are you truly saying that Gianni Paladini has done more for the club than other individual since Jim Gregory? |
|
Now you see the love...its touching really

Perhaps the downfall of Sousa was not playing Borrowdale and like most people at rangers who fall out with Gianni they end up getting booted out. To say that Sousa was good or bad is daft after only half a season no one will ever know. but he was sacked for non football reasons i thought anyway?

First, I'm not privy to the legal denoument of the Sousa axing!
Secondly: There's legal. And there's moral. Not always the same. And to repeat for the umpteenth time: The way Sousa was axed did not sit well.
Putting Holloway on Gardening Leave was very clever. But I still thought it was "highly unfortunate"
Will Swansea finish in the bottom half? Possibly. But as you say that would be due to lack of good players. Wouldnt mean Sousa wasnt a good coach.
Just as if we finish above Blackpool this season (which I expect), doesnt mean Magilton is a better manager than Holloway. He may well be. But where you finish isn't the sole determinant.

I don't know, I am off line for a couple of days and all hell breaks loose.
For what it is worth it is bloody hot here.
Went to Restaurante Gianni in Roquetas (Really!!!) last night after being told it was excellent by someone ITK.
For what it is worth got something of a much lower standard than what I asked for, and it was massively overpriced.
Should have expected it really looking at the name shouldn't I?
Did we ever find out how Pesto Pete found out about the defender deal and the bung that Sousa wanted? Didn't think so.
Glad to see Scott has got over his Swine Flu........

Ok this thread is now a basket case people need to see the thread on te other site that started this one to understand the first point. And back to the issue of the avatar the only QPR persons that should never be on a avatar is Alan Mullery and Kevin Brock. That is that one out of the way.
Now if i came over from mars and read this i would not make sense of it all. We need to go back a bit here . Right Sousa was sacked for non football reasons fact so with that in mind no point in talking about the 0-0 draws as that was not the reason. If anyone has an issue with that take it up with Flavio.
The reason why we did not go up last season was we were not good enough at the end of the day.fact. QPR need to give JM a season and stop the knee jerk sackings on a wim.
The manager needs to bring in his own players and the club need to work and invest in the youth set up to help build this club. We need more scouts and bring in a LB and forward.
The club badge should not be in the middle of the shirt as it looks crap.

Doesn't Benitez run a rotation policy and rarely feilds the same team?? I know Liverpool are not up to our standards yet but it is worth noting.

Now why would any fan or any fan site be "against the club?" Don't people have better things to do?
The obvious answer: They're not. They're involved and offering their views precisely because they care.
Someone may be critical of the board of directors; or the Sporting Director; or the manager; or the players. and one may speak out of contact the club to express those views. But it seems self-evident and - actually a calumny - for the claim to be made that means one is "anti-the-club."
In reality, it's an effort to stifle criticism/debate - Well to each their own.
There are enough official sites and official groups. I'd say the proper role of a fan site is to care about what happens to the club. And be prepared to speak out if you disagree. Doesn't mean you're right in your criticisms or comments. But so what.
There's a famous century-old quote "The job of the newspaper is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable" And so with messageboards. The club doesn't need cheerleaders and boosters who seek to quiet other views.
