Sky Sports is showing a new series of one-hour football chat shows called Time of Our Lives. Presented by Jeff Stelling, the show offers a series of considered, nostalgic discussions featuring true legends of the game. Jeff will reminisce with guests, telling stories that have made football history. Famous names from the past will talk about their clubs, characters they played alongside, the most memorable matches and their particular rivalries - experiences that illuminated their careers. The next show in the series catches up with three of the famous Wimbledon Crazy Gang of the early 1980s who, with their eccentric behaviour and team spirit, shocked everyone with their run to victory in the 1988 FA Cup. Wally Downes, Alan Cork and Dave Bassett are re-united to look back on the days under Bobby Gould and Ray Harford in the early 90s, including their controversial move to Selhurst Park to ground share with Crystal Palace. Catch the show at 10.00pm on Monday, April 20 on Sky Sports 1. Fans of Queens Park Rangers should put 18 May in their diary - Stan Bowles, Gerry Francis and Dave Thomas will be in the studio recounting the glory days of the Super Hoops and their second placed finish in 1975-76 and their exploits in Europe the following season. www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11711_4686888,00.html

Not to knowledgable on that or how I can get it off my Vplus but the kids may know. I'll check with them and find out unless someone else can come up with a better solution.
I'll try and test it later today and let you know, not sure on the zone malarky when recording though.

If you have a DVD Recorder it's just a case of recording out of the V+ output. To transfer to your PC direct from the V+ is quite tricky because you have to capture it in real time on your PC using capture software.

Who saw it? What was your opinion? It was OK. What really came across from Stanley was his lack of interest for the game, almost sounded like having to play football was an irritant that got in the way of his gambling, his disdain for Marsh (when asked about Rodney, Stan replied 'Who?') is still as strong as ever and though drink has wrecked him, unfortunately, he still goes down the 'Bok. The stories about Dave Sexton were the most interesting to me. (When I was little a bloke at football used to call me 'little Dave' in honour of Dave Sexton because he said I was just like him!). In all, not the most exiting program, but definitely great viewing for us.

Mike, you'll like these. Stan, I picked up one thing from Marsh (don't get on with him though), used to trip himself up to get a penalty so I copied that. I had the ten shirt, didn't bother me, I'd never heard of Marsh, still haven't. ;D Heard it all first hand mind as it is his stock cabaret for all.
