I'd have to say I wouldn't hate Pardew, he got them into the CCC and laid much of the ground work at Reading for Coppell and may have got them to the Prem more quickly than Coppell. He probably underachieved with West Ham in the CCC but he did get them into the playoffs twice and promoted plus a FA Cup final, he sacking was more to do with the Icelander having Curbs in mind. His copybook is tainted by Charlton but they were a club already in terminal decline and perhaps that rot was just too hard to turn around. His football is not philosophy is not unattractive.
In the end whoever they hire will need to win quickly and they could do worse than Pardew

Pardew would be on a par with Gregory and Dowie - But it would send a signal of what QPR really are. Especially after all those "ITK" " " posts - Venables, Erickson, Scolari. So we'll see. Seen so many names mentioned both on the boards and in the tabloids.

I guess I think Venables is a spent force and Erickson is a mercenary and Scolari is just a 2+2=37 story. It'll be a journeyman like Pardew or a foreign manager like De Canio (if not LDC).

But as with Dowie, not any different to what we might well have appointed if Paladini was still Chairman (Or BP or Blackburn) - ie no reflection of the "Billionaire" input.
But even Pardew, ok. If he's put in charge of signing players. Just crazy.
