R's supporters are encouraged to arrive early for the final day showdown against West Bromwich Albion at Loftus Road. The party gets underway from 1.15pm and past players, including Les Ferdinand, Paul Parker, Gerry Francis and Stan Bowles, will be on the pitch for a short presentation before the match. Club Captain Gareth Ainsworth has urged the fans to take their seats early for the end of season showcase. "It's got all the ingredients of being an afternoon to remember," Ainsworth told www.qpr.co.uk.
"The support this season has been first class, but Sunday promises to be a day every QPR fan, old and young, remembers for the rest of their lives."Ainsworth has also encouraged R's fans to show their support by wearing the famous Blue and White Hoops. "It's always great to see the Blue and White shirts around the ground," he said. "It adds to the electric atmosphere generated on a matchday at Loftus Road." I suppose it's just another sign of decay when Clubs have new eras starting several times a season.
As a rule, nobody wants the old eras to end if they're successful and profitable.
