Where are we going to put all these midfielders?? Maybe Derry will follow Kenny to Leeds.
And thanks CPR, if I come across any troubles I will give you a shout.

Why would Derry leave? We don't have too many central/defensive midfielders. He's the only 100% central midfielder-defender. I don't think Hughes would wanna let him go. Not yet, at least.

I think Derry will still be useful, especially on from the bench, meaning that he won't be playing games as often and will be hopefully more effective when he does come on. He's got to rest those old bones.

True, which would be a shame as he has been a great ambassador/spokesman for QPR, and enjoyed listening to his interviews on the podcast, etc. Maybe there would be room for him on the training staff, but I guess there is no room for sentimentality now.

In the past he has claimed we signed RSC for £5m, Celtic were in talks with the Dutch FA to join their league next season and back when McCarthy was sacked by Wolves he said Rafa Benitez would take over. There is an account dedicated to showing all the things he has got wrong.

According to the Sun , Liverpool after Ki with us? Brendan’s Ki-high thinking LIVERPOOL are lining up a £7million swoop for Celtic star Ki Sung-Yueng. SunSport understands new Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has the South Korean high on his wishlist of summer signing targets. But he faces a fight to land the Parkhead midfield star, with clubs across Europe showing interest in Ki. SunSport can reveal QPR, Rubin Kazan and Deportivo La Coruna are all keen to land the 23-year-old. There is also strong interest in Ki from Germany with several Bundesliga clubs monitoring his situation but Liverpool lead the way. Rodgers is on the hunt for midfielders to suit the passing style he wants his side to play. Ki’s age and ability make him a leading contender to team up with Kop and England skipper Steven Gerrard, below. QPR will not give up without a fight. Chairman Tony Fernandes said last night: “Ki is a very good player and we are very aware of him. “He is a player we will be watching and also monitoring closely.” Ki said last week he will wait until after the Olympics to decide his future. However, with a transfer battle heating up, Liverpool and QPR are likely to act much earlier. Hoops boss Neil Lennon is a big fan of Ki but with 18 months left on his contract, Celtic would make a huge profit on the player signed from FC Seoul for £2m in 2010. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4422663/Ki-Sung-Yueng-on-Liverpools-radar.html

He's got to rest those old bones. Let's suppose we don't get another central midfielder. Who's going to start? Diakite, Faurlin, Buzsaky, Derry. Pick 2. Faurlin - has he fully recovered? Diakite - no question there. Buzsaky - will he be still around, and if so, - will Hughes start suddenly trusting him? So that leaves Derry, a proven (to my surprise!) PL midfielder. Bench, you say? And suppose we do get another CM from another league, another level, unproven, - will Hughes trust him immediately? I just can't see Derry being sold or not making the 25.

Based on what we have I really don't see Derry as being PL quality. Too slow.

Derry will give his all in training and try his hardest to get into the starting 11, this in turn means the new signings can not rest on there Laurels and expect a place in the starting 11.

Well the Sun also said we would get a 15 point deduction so I won't believe a word they say The Sun's remit isn't to tell the truth - it's to sell newspapers. The morpheme 'news' in this case is ambiguous as the paper isn't full of news. It's more like a soap opera in print. In my opinion the publication should be reclassified as a 'journal' instead of a 'newspaper' and that would leave it open to litigation more easily. Don't forget that the paper is owned by the worlds leading family of l*ing b*st*rds. Not that I have any strong opinions one way or another you understand. ;D
