Never seen on the internet before. First World War Programme 1916-17 season. QPR v Arsenal 25th December 1916. Arsenal won 3-2. Rangers goal scorers: Dale, Hassan. Home match played at Kensal Rise. Rangers played in Green & White striped shirts.

What I can never understand is how on earth did they finish the match without flood lights? On that fantastic programme it says the next match (v Fulham) kicks off at 2:30 so, even if they turned staight round at half time, or maybe after a quick cigarette, they wouldn't finish until 4 which is sunset. Even if it was a clear day they would finish the match in darkness.
