I can always hear them talk.

Now if we can just get the e-book up for sale, we can move this towards 2500 pounds... I am told it's coming...

Thanks guys. I didn't post anything about the £2000 myself as I had assumed you are probably all getting a bit tired of me waffling on about the book. Must mention, however, that it has only been a success due to people like you who have bought it. All the hard work put in by Canada and myself would have come to nought if there had been no sales! Thank you everybody.

Quite a few people on this board have not bought a copy. No obligation, of course, but please reconsider if you are one of those few. Sales have died right down now and it would be nice to get another £500 in for the Trust. I would love to hear from you and can guarantee posting within 24 hours (apart from weekends of course).

Should also be remembered that this £2000 is all gift-aided so equivalent in reality to £2500

Try tweeting Rodnee...See if he wants to buy a copy? Also email Dennis Signy at Barnet...Mark Devlin at Notts County...Maybe the children of former QPR players who were at QPR at least part of this time- Mike Keen's son...Martin Allen at Notts C... Dave Clement's sons...

Thanks Mac. For a starter I have given up on Rodney. Have tweeted him three or four times and been ignored. Then managed to get his agent's name and address and, via him, sent Rodney a complimentary copy some weeks ago. Not a word of thanks or acknowledgement as was also the case in similar circumstances with Tony Fernandes, Neil Warnock, Amit Bhatia, Phil Beard. Not a 'thank you' from any of them and all have my email, landline, mobile details. I ask myself if it is worth bothering.

Mark Devlin. Who?

Lots of names there to conjure with but would not know how to contact most of them and don't really have the time for extensive research. Thanks for the suggestion anyway and perhaps when (if) I have time I may look into it further.

Currently £2010 by the way.

Yes Maude. Have it on my Kindle and I am just doing the final checks on it. Literally only got the links for a manual 'drag and drop' download late last night. Will be available on Kindle and e-book to members of all boards for a straight £5 with no extras. When it goes on Amazon there will be an extra charge for non-board members in order to cover their commission.

Will make an announcement on this very shortly about arrangements for payment.

My thanks to Nige who has done all the work on this at no charge.
