Great post!
Nice to se fellow Norwegian Erland Johnsen being added in the programme in handwriting, as this was his debut match for Chelsea.
In an interview for the Norwegian fan magazine SuperHoops, he said that he was absolutely tormented by Les Ferdinand in this match. He also talked about how much he enjoyed the stadium itself, describing it as a proper football theatre.
Mind you, he was about to join QPR. This only days before signing for Chelsea. Then Trevor Francis made a complete mess about the deal. Chelsea knew that Johnsen was in London, and moved very quick to secure him. What a shame.

Just for the record, Rangers played Chel*** in the war years at LR. At the start of the game we were two outfielders and a goalkeeper short and the other lot had all their stars playing. Rangers appealed for a three players from the crowd and managed to make up a team. In those days a lot of guys would take their boots to the game on the off chance as many professional players were on military or police duty at short notice. One of the players was 15 year old "Ginger" Smith. The result? QPR 0 Chel*** 13.

Alec Stock was the General Manager up until the first week of November 1968. Bill Dodgin was the Team Manager and had been selecting the side until Tommy Docherty took over for the Burnley game 9th Nov 1968.

That's very interesting. I thought the whole essence was that Stock was pushed out of QPR before the season started

Harlow,
I admit defeat & have resorted to Gordon Macey's complete record (the original version) for answers!
I have tracked down whom 2 6 28 & 30 are although I am sorry to say I have never come across 30.
Still no idea who 35 & 49 are.
I came up with a name for 41, but this is the loan section & we paid Glasgow Rangers £400,000 for the signature of the player I have in mind.
When will you name those we have not delivered on?
