[Macmoish: Bump a year!]
Apologies for a slightly shortened version this week but due to a lack of old match reports , this was the best i could muster.
QPR welcome Aston Villa FC
Well we had the recent cup meeting in 2008 which we won 1-0 at Villa Park and we played
at Villa Park in 2004 again in the League Cup losing 3-1 but we have to go back to 9th March 1996 for our last League meeting !
We have had 38 previous League encounters starting from 1967 to 1996.
Remarkably all but 6 of those 38 games have been played in the top tier.
Eight matches in the Premiership and 24 games in the old Division One.
In our 8 Premiership meetings in the nineties Aston Villa won all 4 homes games and QPR won three and drew one of there's.
So neither of us have lost at home in the Premiership meetings.
We managed to take 10 from a possible 24 points.
Previous three meetings.
