The medals belong to QPR in the Community Trust (1127806) and the Centre of Excellence we obtained them specifically to auction to the fans and raise funds - with the kind permission of the Football League and Npower.
Thanks
Fiona

Fiona, i was speaking to one of the contractors outside the stadium a couple of weeks ago and he told me the staff had to pay £50 if they wanted one. Please tell me this is nnot true?

I still don't understand why these are being sold. (Yes I understand to raise money for obviously good cause). Who did they belong to? Doesnt the club history warrant keeping these for all time? Are we that desperate for money?

Are we that desperate for money? We're not desperate for the money as all monies received for them goes to the Tiger Cubs. They were bought by the club and donated to the Tiger Cubs with this specific intent in mind seemingly. It's a good idea. If Calders above is accurate, and I have no reason to doubt him, then it's a clever way of turning a £50 donation into a great deal more and at the same time gives two fans the chance to own a unique piece of celebratory history. Can't see any downside or anything to question here. Well played Fiona and all at the trust.

Mark had it confirmed by someone else who actually has one. The very same person has one from the 2004 promotion which was given to him by the club when we were skint. What a shocking state the club is in!

On the auction page it states. All proceeds will go to the trust. Well let's hope so. The trust do so much good work. Why the money they raise is not ring fenced is beyond me.
