The player you have been reading about on the other thread is almost certainly Danny Graham. I have been reliably informed today that he has signed already (yesterday) and the club will announce it in the next 24 hours? This seems strange not to announce it and knowing QPR's official website that will be sometime next week but the player that has already signed is Danny Graham no question. No other details known as yet. Will be interesting to see how he copes in the Premier league and I am assuming this is the first of many lower cost and lower WAGE players that are unproven at top level.

Now that would be a great first signing, although I have to say I would still prefer Long.

Well he picked apart the best defence in the league last year, so let's hope he takes that one step further. Now I get to put my nan's maiden name on the back of a shirt!

YES!!, great signing.
If this is true then Graham could be the forward we have been looking for.
I wonder what squad number he will get.

True, I cant see it on SkySports as it says on other thread but apparently he has already signed. Possibly then Helguson may go the other way?

Or Pellicori?!
But until the deal is Officially announced by QPR and Watford, I won't count him as a QPR player

I think if the fee is correct this is a sensible risk to reward signing/bid. He fits the system very well and can clearly finish but lets not expect him to guarantee us survival...B+ very promising start

Would still like to see this confirmed, but would appear a great signing for a good price too! Good to see this sort of signing and not the neverending list of has-beens trawled out by the gutter press. Interesting to see who could be next.

www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9038568.QPR_make___2_5m_bid_for_Graham/Queens Park Rangers make £2.5m bid for Watford striker Danny Graham 9:22pm Thursday 19th May 2011 Print Email Share Comments(2) Photograph of the Author By Frank Smith » Queens Park Rangers have made a £2.5m bid for Watford striker Danny Graham, Sky Sports are reporting. Graham was the Championship’s leading scorer this season with 24 goals in the league and 27 in all competitions. And it is reported QPR boss Neil Warnock has made Graham his first target of the summer following Rangers’ promotion to the Premier League. Graham joined Watford from Carlisle United in the summer of 2009 in a deal which has so far cost the Hornets £350,000 and could rise to £550,000 if Malky Mackay’s are promoted next season.

QPR bid for Graham Warnock also confident he will not have to sell his stars Last Updated: May 19, 2011 9:52pm
. Sky Sports News sources understand that Queens Park Rangers have bid for Watford star Danny Graham.
The striker was a revelation in the Championship in the 2010/11 campaign and finished as the division's top scorer with 24 goals.
Skysports.com revealed last week that Newcastle are showing an interest in Graham as Alan Pardew attempts to replace Andy Carroll.
But QPR, who will face Newcastle in the Premier League next season after winning the Championship, are understood to have made the first move by tabling a bid.
QPR manager Neil Warnock confirmed earlier on Thursday that planning was already well under way for the new campaign and that is likely to include transfer targets.
It has also been suggested that Warnock could be forced to wave goodbye to some of his key assets, but he insists that is not the case.
He told QPR's official website: "I've been given assurances that I won't have to sell my better players.
"I'm working hard behind the scenes in a bid to improve the squad ahead of the new campaign."
