Maybe King will go then , quick anybody we like at Cov ! Coventry chairman could walk out - just days after sacking their manager James Nursey Ray Ranson may quit as Coventry chairman after crisis talks over funding. The managerless Sky Blues are 20th in the Championship after failing to win in seven matches. Caretaker Andy Thorn is in charge following the sacking of Aidy Boothroyd earlier this month. Now Ranson, in charge since December 2007, could end up leaving the Ricoh Arena too. He has become frustrated at the lack of investment by City’s owners, the Sisu Capital group. Ranson, 50, has regularly appealed in vain for cash to invest in the club, which axed Chris Coleman last May after coming 20th. Now the club is struggling for funds to keep out-of-contract players Marlon King, Aron Gunnarsson, Clive Platt and Kieren Westwood. Sky www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6832241,00.html Bluebirds make King move City look for King deal By Graeme Bailey Cardiff City have approached Coventry City about signing striker Marlon King, skysports.com can confirm. The 30-year-old has been in great form in recent weeks with five goals in his last seven games. His current deal is set to expire in the summer which has seen a host of clubs check on him. Stoke, Leicester, Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers are all thought to be keen on the former Watford and Wigan ace. However, Cardiff are looking to secure a deal now in order to bolster their promotion push. His agent Tony Finnigan has confirmed to skysports.com that Cardiff have approached Coventry. Talks "There has been dialogue between Cardiff and Coventry, that is true," Finnigan confirmed. "If the two clubs reach agreement, then talks may happen - but that is not up to us and Marlon is more than happy at Coventry. "Marlon has been playing really well and since signing for Coventry has proven what a top striker he is. "He is out of contract in the summer that is no secret, but neither has been his desire to open talks over a new deal."

I believe in rehabilitation of offenders as a concept and concede how difficult a job it must be for those who attempt it. However King is a multiple offender, his second chance was used up a long time ago and even though with all the evidence laid before him and several eye witnesses categorically stating that it was him, he still refuses to admit guilt for his last crime and therefore has never shown remorse, let alone apologised to the young girl he beat the crap out of, mainly because she objected to him sexually assaulting her. If he comes to Rangers, it will be another nail in the family club coffin.

If he was not good enough for Neil Warnock at the start of this season, there is no way he will be good enough for a team pushing for champions league position next season ;-)

Ok, then his personality is far more "damaged" than I actually thought. I think he should be verrryyy glad Coventry took him on board.

Not only no remorse, he vowed to clear his name. no evidence of that either! He did actually present the evidence, it was CCTV Footage of a man being thrown out of the same club a few hours before King assaulted the young girl. His argument being that this person got back into the club without being seen by anybody, assaulted the girl and then left without being seen by anybody again. A pathetic attempt to muddy the waters in conjunction with a PR company getting him and his wife interviews together to show what a good family man he is.
