Rangers eased to an 8-0 victory against Tavistock AFC at Langsford Park, with Akos Buzsaky and Hogan Ephraim at the double.
In a keenly contested affair in front of a healthy pre-season crowd, the R's were four goals to the good at the break.
Buzsaky opened the scoring inside 12 seconds - unofficially the second quickest goal in QPR history - before the Magical Magyar doubled his and the R's advantage with a sublime free-kick soon after.
Clint Hill bagged his first goal in a QPR shirt on 18 minutes and the lively Jamie Mackie - who was jovially booed by the odd Plymouth fan in attendance following his summer move from Home Park - made it four just after the half hour.
Ephraim added a fifth eight minutes after the resumption, dinking the ball home from eight yards following a neat one-two with Leon Clarke.
Josh Parker made it six just five minutes later, before Alejandro Faurlin added a seventh in the 71st minute.
It was left to the lively Ephraim to round off the scoring, when he fired home number eight three minutes from full-time.
Neil Warnock named a strong line-up for the R's first pre-season friendly, with all five of his new summer signings in his starting XI against the South West Peninsula League premier division side.
Paddy Kenny started in goal, whilst Hill joined skipper Mikele Leigertwood, Fitz Hall and Kaspars Gorkss in the Rangers back four.
Player of the Year Faurlin was joined in midfield by Shaun Derry and Buzsaky, while Heidar Helguson spearheaded the R's attack, alongside new signings Mackie and Leon Clarke.
The match was only 12 seconds old when Rangers took a quick-fire lead.
Mackie played provider, sending a low centre in to the heart of the Tavistock six-yard box and Buzsaky did the rest, clipping the ball into the far corner with expert ease.
The R's nearly doubled their lead three minutes later, but Clarke's curler flew inches wide of Andy Meeds' left hand post.
It was all Rangers and when Faurlin was teed up by Clarke a minute later, the Argentine thrashed inches over from fully 25-yards.
Kenny had to be alert to get down low to Mark Conday's weak effort on ten minutes, but in truth it was Rangers - and Mackie in particular - who continued to pose the greater attacking threat.
It was from one such Mackie burst that Rangers bagged a second in the tenth minute.
Having left three trailing in his wake, the former Plymouth man was sent tumbling to ground 22-yards from goal.
Up stepped Buzsaky and the rest was pure class - as he sent a textbook curler into the roof of the net.
The Lambs, to their credit, continued to plug away, but they were reliant upon Meeds in the 13th minute, as the home custodian dived full stretch to his left to thwart Faurlin from range.
But it was Rangers who made it three in the 18th minute, as Hill stooped to head into the far corner of the net.
The R's front-three were linking up efficiently and Clarke was next to go close, heading narrowly wide from Helguson's inch-perfect centre midway through the half.
Clarke's neat play arguably deserved a goal and when he met Mackie's back post cross, his effort - on the stretch - flew inches wide of the post.
Mackie was the pick of the R's front players though and he made it four on 31 minutes, bamboozling Meeds with a low curling effort from 18-yards.
Warnock made seven changes at the break, with only Leigertwood, Buzsaky, Faurlin and Clarke retaining their places in the side for the second half.
It was Ephraim who made the first major impact, playing a tidy one-two with the tricky Clarke, before dinking the ball over Meeds for Rangers' fifth.
The R's faithful - who turned out in good numbers - didn't have to wait too long for a sixth goal, as Parker headed back across goal to divert Gary Borrowdale's cross into the back of the net.
The pace of the game dropped as legs tired, but Rangers still roamed forward with ease and Faurlin bagged a seventh from the edge of the box 19 minutes from time.
And the scoring was completed in the 87th minute, as Ephraim coolly fired home to bag his second and the R's eighth.
