From the Nottingham Forest Official Site, but presumably for us all...
Nottingham Forest Official Site- Season Tickets - Important VAT Information
Jun 16, 2010
Nottingham Forest would like to make supporters aware of potential Government legislation that could affect the cost of season tickets at The City Ground.
An emergency budget is scheduled for next Tuesday, June 22, and a number of fans have contacted us regarding speculation concerning a change in the rate of VAT.
It currently stands at 17.5 per cent although there is no certainty that VAT will be increased - nor how quickly any rise would take effect.
Currently, all season tickets are inclusive of 17.5 per cent VAT and a full list of current prices can be found by clicking here.
If the Government announce a change in VAT rates on June 22 the club will issue a statement via the website once the facts surrounding any change are known.
Meantime supporters can guarantee renewing their season tickets at the advertised prices by returning their completed application forms and payment before 22nd June.
Supporters wishing to renew their season tickets are reminded that they have until Saturday June 26 to secure their seat, before general sale will start on Saturday July 3.
Season ticket renewals can be made now online at www.nffcretail.co.uk, over the phone on 0871 226 1980 or in person from the Brian Clough Ticket Office.
Supporters are reminded that the Club Shop and Ticket Office are undergoing a major refit during the closed season and should use the Brian Clough Stand Ticket Office for all renewals.
Seasonal corporate hospitality clients are also asked to be mindful that prices could change if there is a change in the rate of VAT.
