SEASON SALES BREAK FIVE-FIGURE BARRIER
Posted on: Thu 03 Jun 2010
With Steve Coppell signed up as manager for the 2010/11 season now is the perfect time to join up and become part of an exciting new era for Bristol City Football Club.
Season cards go on general sale to all Bristol City supporters from Wednesday, June 9th - and offer outstanding savings against matchday prices. Click here for full prices, information, downloads and FAQs.
More than 10,000 fans have already secured their seat for the new campaign, but some great seats remain available on general sale including much sought-after places in the Dolman Stand Central and Wedlock Stand.
General sale prices in the Atyeo, Dolman and Williams stands have been frozen or reduced against the last set of prices last season. Meanwhile the Wedlock Stand continues to benefit from one of the cheapest tickets in the Championship, with adults paying just £315.
Families continue to benefit - the popular family package* which sees two under-16s go free starts from just £830, allowing families to watch every home nPower Championship game next season for less than a tenner each.
In addition, under-7s* can continue to go free when purchased with a full paying adult and under-16 season tickets on their own start from just £110.
Season cards can be bought online 24 hours a day via bcfc.co.uk; by phoning 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) or in person at Ashton Gate Stadium and will remain on sale until 6th August, subject to availability.
Group managing director Doug Harman says: "The response by supporters to the appointment of Steve Coppell and advances made on and off the pitch have been overwhelmingly positive, and this has been reflected in season ticket sales so far - which are up on the corresponding period last year despite what is still for many a difficult economic climate.
"We would like to thank each and every supporter who has signed up so far and hope to see many more join them before the start of the 2010/11 season on August 7th.
"We continue to strive to make watching football affordable for families and working adults whilst at the same time generating the funds needed to ensure the club is well-placed to challenge for Premier League football.
"After winning the Family Excellence Award in 2010, we are delighted to see that just under 1,000 fans will be watching City next season as part of a family season ticket and hope to see many more take up this offer before the start of the season."
A finance option - provided by Zebra Finance - will once again be available, allowing supporters to spread the cost of their season ticket across five monthly instalments, interest-free, subject to a £15 admin charge.
