Darlington Official SiteWIN AT ROCHDALE IS NOT ENOUGH Posted on: Wed 14 Apr 2010 By Martin Walker Darlington are now mathematically relegated from the Football League despite pulling off a surprise win at Rochdale on Tuesday night. The Quakers went to league-leaders Rochdale knowing that relegation would almost certainly be confirmed. They had to win all their remaining seven league games, and Cheltenham had to lose their last seven, to pull off the impossible. But Cheltenham's 0-0 draw at Shrewsbury tonight condemned Darlington to the drop. Nathan Mulligan scored Darlo's winner in the 35th minute to seal the club's fourth away win this season and seventh all together. The victory toppled Rochdale from the top of League Two, with Notts County leapfrogging them thanks to a 3-1 win at home to Lincoln. A more detailed match report will follow soon. www.darlington-fc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10339~2023850,00.html Full League Two table 1 Notts County 40 52 80 2 Rochdale 41 37 79 3 Bournemouth 42 10 74 4 Rotherham 42 5 68 5 Bury 42 -1 67 6 Chesterfield 42 2 66 7 Aldershot 42 11 65 8 Morecambe 42 9 64 9 Port Vale 42 14 63 10 Northampton 42 10 63 11 Dag & Red 42 8 63 12 Shrewsbury 42 3 59 13 Burton Albion 42 -1 56 14 Accrington 41 -10 54 15 Bradford 42 -7 52 16 Crewe 42 -8 50 17 Macclesfield 42 -8 50 18 Hereford 42 -15 50 19 Torquay 42 2 47 20 Lincoln City 42 -21 46 21 Cheltenham 41 -11 45 22 Barnet 41 -12 45 23 Grimsby 42 -24 38 24 Darlington 40 -45 26
