There are three high-scoring midfield players in contention to land the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Year award.
West Brom’s Graham Dorrans, Kevin Nolan of Newcastle and Blackpool skipper Charlie Adam have been stand-out performers for their respective clubs this term and the sharp-shooting trio have all won the Fans’ Player of the Month award at some stage this season.
Graham Dorrans
Former West Brom manager Tony Mowbray paid Scottish outfit Livingstone just ÂŁ150,000 for Dorrans and his opening goal for the Baggies in their promotion-clinching win at Doncaster on Saturday took his tally for the campaign to 17.

Kevin Nolan
Nolan, meanwhile, also added to his impressive total at the weekend after scoring his 16th goal of the season in the comprehensive 4-1 victory over Blackpool as the Toon edge ever-closer to winning the Championship title and with it an immediate return to the Premier League.
“If anything, relegation brought us closer together. It has made Newcastle United a better club,” said Nolan. “What has happened, Newcastle will be stronger in the long run – I really believe that.”

Charlie Adam
Adam has been a major reason why the Tangerines have been able to mount a challenge for the play-offs with the former Rangers player netting 16 times.
He said: “Personally, it is great to get what I’ve got but I want more. There are still a few games left and hopefully I’ll get a few chances I can convert. But it is not just about me scoring goals, it is about everybody.”

Chris Cohen
Nottingham Forest’s Chris Cohen won the fans’ award in February and he is another contender for the seasonal trophy after a fine campaign for promotion-chasing Tricky Trees.
The 22-year-old former Yeovil player was the supporters’ Player of the Year last term and his fine form has earned him a new four-year contract.

Billy Sharp
Billy Sharp joining Doncaster on a season-loan from Sheffield United was a masterstroke of a signing by Rovers’ boss Sean O’Driscoll.
Sharp has scored 16 goals for Donny, while last year’s Fans’ Player of the Year Marcus Tudgay of Sheffield Wednesday is once again proving popular with voters as he bids to land back-to-back awards.

Marcus Tudgay
Last but not least Sheffield Wednesday striker Marcus Tudgay is also in with an outside chance of winning the PFA Fans' award. The former Derby striker started the season with all guns blazing but has struggled to find the back of the net since the turn of the year.
Tudgay will be looking to rediscover his form again and help Wednesday climb out of the relegation as the season draws to a close.

Remember, the contenders for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Year award is made up from this season's winners for the monthly PFA Fans’ award.
