As you know, I have always encouraged you/urged you to post on this board a link to anything from Vital Football QPR
[I'll have to reread what was said a year ago before commenting further re those other links! ]
So how would others have answered the questions posed by Adam?
- How do you rate Rangers performance last season?
- What was your stand out moment?
- How do you feel about the appointment of Jim Magilton?
- Do you feel Rangers have strengthened adequately?
- Who will be the key player(s) for the R`s this season?
- Where do you expect the R`s to finish this season?
Championship - Who will be… Champions: Overachievers: Underachievers: Young Player to Watch Top Goalscorer: |

You'll have to read VitalQPR next week to find out

OK this was my "prediction" last year on Vital Football QPR I'd say it speaks for itself
What did you feel about the appointment of Iain Dowie?
Mixture of disappointment and relief. He is a known quantity and is competent and is the kind of appointment that a year or two would have loved. Now we probably felt that we had moved beyond a Dowie-type like appointment - especially after we had taken the European managerial route with De Canio. But that having been said, if you're given enough resources you don't need to be a complete managerial genius to win promotion.
Have the R`s fared how you expected in the transfer market?
To be honest, no - at least not yet. This is not the time for doom and gloom. Will be fairer to assess things in a few weeks. However, it's clearly in our hands. If we will it, it is no dream
Who will be the key player(s) for Rangers this season?
God knows. Hopefully some 35 goal a season goalscorer we sign.
Where do you expect the R`s to finish this campaign?
I expect promotion. I don't know what that's based on. And I'm usually quite a pessimist - especially with respect to QPR, in adherence to the idiom: If something can go wrong; then it will. But in this specific instance, I just feel it's going to happen and we are going up: This season. None of this three seasons to build nonsense.
Championship
Who will be...
Champions: Birmingham
Overachievers: QPR
Underachievers: Hopefully Crystal Palace, Wolves, Derby, Nottingham Forest, Coventry, etc
Young Player to Watch: Someone from QPR: One of our Italian signings
Top Goalscorer: Someone from QPR (not yet signed!)

Gianni Paladini to QPR Report: "I would like to thank you for all your time and efforts that you put into QPR. I think you are doing something useful and informative for the club and the supporters." |
