Top Goal Scorer:Les Allen 30. Mike Keen & Jim Langley were ever present and played in all 46 matches.

The Floodlights from 1953 are replaced in November 1965 with structures twice the size and power of the originals.

Keith Sanderson signed from 2nd Division Plymouth Argyle. He gained a Soccer Blue at Cambridge University.
