Waddock: 'Ball in Shots court over Donnelly move' Jan 21 2010 By Greg Burns THE ball over the possible transfer of Scott Donnelly to Wycombe is firmly in the court of Aldershot Town according to Blues boss Gary Waddock. Wanderers had a bid turned down for the 21-year-old former QPR trainee by Shots this week but with Donnelly coming out and saying he would like to make the move. He is regarded as one of the most promising midfielders in the lower leagues and the League Two outfit are understandably reluctant to sell one of their top assest although his contract runs out in the summer. Waddock said: “I have known Scott since he was a young lad at QPR. I think there is a feeling from both sides that we would like to work with each other again but at the moment he is an Aldershot Town player and is under contract so that is that for the moment. It is up to Aldershot now.” www.buckinghamshireadvertiser.co.uk/south-buckinghamshire-sport/2010/01/21/waddock-ball-in-shots-court-over-donnelly-move-82398-25652558/
