www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5860290,00.html Hart departs QPR Former Pompey boss lasts just five games at Loftus Road Last updated: 14th January 2010 Hart: Lasted five games Paul Hart has left Queens Park Rangers by mutual consent after just five games in charge at Loftus Road. The former Portsmouth boss had been at the QPR helm less than a month after succeeding Jim Magilton, who himself had only been given the reins in the summer. Hart becomes the sixth full-time manager to leave QPR, a figure that rises to nine if you include caretaker bosses, since Flavio Briatore took over the club in September 2007. An FA Cup defeat to Sheffield United earlier in the week has proven to be Hart's final game in charge, with the experienced tactician lasting just five matches. QPR are currently tenth in the Championship table, four points off the play-offs.

Mirror QPR sack Paul Hart - exclusive Published 23:00 14/01/10 By James Nursey Recommend Paul Hart was last night sacked as QPR boss after less than a month in charge. MirrorFootball revealed yesterday Hart, 56, was battling to save his job after falling out with star midfielder Adel Taarabt . And Championship Rangers now intend to put assistant Mick Harford in charge until the summer. Hart was involved in negotiations with Rangers’ legal team last night trying to thrash out a settlement. Former Portsmouth manager Hart only took charge on December 17 on a contract until the end of the season. He got the post after Jim Magilton was axed following a dressing room bust-up with Akos Buzsaky. But Hart’s position came under scrutiny after just one win in five games. Players have complained to Rangers directors about his training sessions which are considered too unimaginative. And fiery Moroccan midfielder Taarabt, on loan from Spurs, was Hart’s biggest critic after starting just twice under him. Rangers’ latest defeat was an FA Cup third round replay exit at home to Sheffield United. Now Harford is likely to be in charge for Rangers’ trip to Blackpool tomorrow. Hart’s exit is the latest sacking at Loftus Road following their high-profile takeover by F1 tycoons and multi-millionaires Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore in August 2007. Harford will now be the club’s NINTH different manager, including caretakers, to take charge under the new regime. He was in temporary charge previously in October 2007 after John Gregory was given the boot. Luigi De Canio eventually replaced him but neither he or successor Iain Dowie lasted long. Throughout there have been plenty of suspicions that the autocratic Briatore has meddled in team selection. Controversial Briatore, the former Renault team principal, has remained at Rangers despite rigging the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. And Rangers were catapulted into the spotlight again in December when Magilton allegedly head-butted Buzsaky after the club’s defeat at Watford. That precipitated the exit of Magilton after the club’s squad testified against him in a show of player power before Hart was brought in. But like most QPR managers his reign was always liable to be short-lived. www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/QPR-sack-manager-Paul-Hart-and-put-Mick-Harford-in-temporary-charge-exclusive-article287555.html

TElegraph QPR fire Paul Hart and aim to appoint Mick Harford Paul Hart has left Queens Park Rangers manager after just five games in charge. By Sandy Macaskill Published: 11:03PM GMT 14 Jan 2010 In the firing line: Paul Hart has left QPR by mutual consent Photo: GETTY IMAGES Mick Harford, his assistant manager, is waiting in the wings to take over first-team affairs. Related Articles Hart calls for improvement from QPR Paul Hart relishes QPR challenge Hart bullish about QPR task QPR appoint Paul Hart Magilton leaves QPR Sport on television Like his predecessor, Hart's position at the club has been undermined by a breakdown in relations with a player, this time Adel Taarabt. The Moroccan, on loan from Tottenham, has expressed discontent at having only started twice under the new manager. Hart is understood to have been in meetings with his legal representatives on Thursday negotiating the terms of his departure, but given that he was only contracted until the end of the season, QPR should not have to pay through the nose. They are also confident that Harford will step willingly into the breach. The 50 year-old assumed caretaker duties after John Gregory was sacked in 2007, but he was replaced by Luigi De Canio – a decision, The Daily Telegraph understands, that the board still regret. www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/championship/queensparkrangers/6990897/QPR-fire-Paul-Hart-and-aim-to-appoint-Mick-Harford.html

We are a joke. We have been for a while now. He should never have been appointed in the first place and that f**k up is now compounded by the sacking. Once again this just proves that the board don't know what they're doing. Are all the board making the decision or is it just one man doing all this with the rest just sitting their in amazement, wondering how they can get out of this mess?
