Mail on SundayQPR to make it 12 managers in four years with summer swoop for Curbishley or De CanioBy Rob Draper, Mail on Sunday Chief Football Writer 09th January 2010 Queens Park Rangers will make their 12th managerial change in four years this summer with Alan Curbishley and former boss Luigi De Canio the two candidates to replace Paul Hart in the hot seat. Hart, appointed following the dismissal of Jim Magilton, is on his way out of Loftus Rroad at the end of the season with owner Flavio Briatore determined that his next appointment will herald a new stability at Loftus Road. Curbishley still has some loose ends to sort out after a tribunal awarded him £2million from West Ham for constructive dismissal but will be available in the summer. The Rangers hierarchy would also welcome back De Canio, who quit after eight months in charge in 2008 for personal reasons. He is currently in charge of Lecce, who are the league leaders in Italy’s Serie B. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1242010/QPR-make-12-managers-years-summer-swoop-Alan-Curbishley.html

Why not appoint three managers. The first manages until Flav give the sign, and so on. Would be quicker to find the right one and the players could get to know them in spare time,. but I sense there is no right manager, like there is no right lady in his life. ;D

Both rumours are old ones, not sure if that makes them anymore likely. Curbishley would have to have overall control to come especially given he sued West Ham for constructive dismissal because he had no control over transfer policy.

Make Paladini Manager and be done with it. His skilled use of the transfer market is legendary!

How about the worlds first Robot manager. Could program it to do anything he wanted. "Taraabt, you are great do anything you want." "Poor performance except Trabat, expect head butts all around with oranges."

Curbishley would have to have overall control to come especially given he sued West Ham for constructive dismissal because he had no control over transfer policy. Another journalist who wont let facts get in the way of a good rumour that he can print as a 'story' even though as Zed said this exact same story has been printed in various other newspapers about a month ago. DeCanio - I'm unsure about. He fulfilled his brief with us and kept us up but is he the man to take us up? I'm unsure. He does get on with the board and having past experience of working under the conditions set by the board and the manner of their approach, both at QPR and in Italy, he does have a slight advantage over other managers more used to and appreciative of the more traditional way to run a football club in this country. If the club needs a manager that will respect the board and work around their methods then, for the time being, he probably is a better choice than most. Curbishley - unless the club relinquish all control of the transfers to him, he will give us a wide berth. If that happens then he'll be gone by October unless we are top of the table as egos will dictate that they could do a better job themselves of spending their own money. In my view Curbishley is a non-starter as the Director of Football would clash with him.

Hope it's not De Canio...Strongly doubt it will be Curbishley - Unless the club makes 180 degree turn
