Ian Holloway hits out at Cardiff fans
Cardiff 1 Blackpool 1

CARDIFF fans thought they were investing in their team by embracing a scheme in which those who bought a season-ticket for next season would be refunded if the club were promoted.
The supporters were also told that the £3m raised would be spent on new players in January. But with the club facing an unpaid tax bill of £2.7m, the fans began to chant “where’s our money gone?” before this game ended. They booed their side off the field for failing to win, too.
By the time the chanting had started, Blackpool had taken a firm grip on the game and looked strong enough come from behind to defeat Dave Jones’ men.
Having been outplayed in the opening exchanges when Mark Hudson, inset, headed home unchallenged from a Peter Whittingham cross, Blackpool slowly but surely worked their way back into the contest and looked by far the better team at the finish.
Superbly prompted by skipper Charlie Adam, who waltzed through a bemused home defence a minute after the restart to slot home the equaliser, they used their superior passing to keep moving forward and to ensure David Marshall stayed alert in the home goal.
The Cardiff fans’ behaviour brought a stinging response from the Blackpool manager Ian Holloway, who castigated them for “disrespecting” his seventh-placed side. “Who did they think we were playing — some nuggets from Blackpool?” he said. “What on earth are they moaning about when they are in fourth place?
“Things are going really well in Cardiff and I don’t understand all this doom and gloom surrounding the club. The City fans should look where they are in the league and at the facilities they have. Are they worried that Swansea are just behind them?”
