EPHRAIM RETURNS Posted on: Fri 01 Jan 2010 R's midfielder Hogan Ephraim has returned to W12 following the completion of his loan spell with League One high-fliers Leeds United.
The former West Ham United ace made two starts and two substitute appearances during his time with the Whites, scoring a solitary goal in the process.
Ephraim could be in line to return to the R's squad for Sunday's FA Cup third round tie against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Wonder how well he'll be greeted!
London Informer/Yann Tear December 15, 2009 - Hogan pleads for Magilton's future
- HOGAN Ephraim has issued a plea to the Rangers hierarchy to stand by Jim Magilton and says there is no question of the dressing room turning against the Ulsterman. - The QPR winger – who is currently on loan to Leeds United until the end of the month – also believes that the chopping and changing of managers threatens to derail the club's future. - The plea looks likely to fall on deaf ears but Rangers will make an announcement on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
“There hasn't been any problem with the manager,” Ephraim told the Gazette. - “He's passionate and a winner and when you play badly two games in a row, you can understand he is going to be upset and that you are going to get a rollicking. - “He could have been silent but told the players it was unacceptable and I would rather have a manager do that than one that feels the need to walk on egg-shells. You should respect that if you've got anything about you as a player.
-“Obviously, I don't know exactly what happened at Watford last week. I don't know all the rights and wrongs. But I feel it shouldn't be made into a big issue. We have a lot of passionate characters at the club, but I think that's a good thing.” -Ephraim, who asked for the temporary switch to the League One leaders in order to fast-track his recovery from ankle surgery, added: “It's not helping us, starting again every five or six months with a new manager.
- “What we all want is a bit of stability and I'm expecting and hoping I won't be coming back in time for another change of boss.”

A good lad who is worth persevering with.
Sousa could see it, so I think us fans should go with his judgement, double European Cup winner & all that.

Agree, I like him, he has pace, skill and youth. He has the added bonus of being one of the few, that merry band of brothers (not us) that Taraabt will pass to!

Not sure I believe that there was no dressing room upheaval against Magilton. I would tend to think the opposite. Mag did say some very critical things in public about the team, but that shouldnt be enough from a great goal average to a 5-1 loss at home.
What we have seen since the new regime took over is a continued systemic problem where managers suddenly find themselves personna non grata. That is the area that could reveal a recurring embroglio. But then when you add Briatores willing acceptance, it widens the area under scrutiny. Now no one can tell me that Briatore could honestly think that a succession of short term managers is good for any business cohesion. At first he is a businesman. There I will close. The real enigma is what does Briatore really want from QPR. What we can see with clear eyes, is that he is perfectly happy with Paladini.

I think I can remember one or at best 2 useful games Hogan has had. He got a massively extended run last year. How many more chances?
