as we keep hearing (often with a Neil Warnock " We’ve not had a 100 per cent enquiry for Ben but we did have a derogatory offer from QPR a few weeks ago, since Iain Dowie left. But we might as well keep him ourselves..." www.qprreport.blogspot.com/

And to my way of thinking: It's only "a done deal" if it's signed, sealed, delivered. Anything less is "is likely" or "it is expected" or "it is hoped" etc. But it clearly ain't a done deal.

I'm one of those who think he's over rated but I'm more than happy to be proved wrong. I wont be happy if I'm right, it will be waste of money otherwise.

We seem to be getting rather good at wasting money!
I also believe all these other clubs after him is Colin talking to few of his press mates.

Plus, why do we need another midfielder? I know that goals come from the middle as well as the front, but we already have way too many midfielders and don't seem to have any strikers that can actually score goals (with the exception of Dex). We haven't scored more than 2 goals in a game in 3 months and we haven't scored more than one in a month. You can't win every game 1-0!!! We need a striker or two!!!
