(Boy he's sliding down the Managerial Table ) BBC Hartlepool dismiss manager Wilson Wilson's Hartlepool won promotion to League One in 2007 Hartlepool have sacked manager Danny Wilson after two-and-a-half years in charge at the club. Wilson, 48, won promotion to League One with the club in 2007 but saw them slide into the bottom-half this season. "We would like to thank Danny for the hard work he put in during his time at Victoria Park," a club statement read. I can't say I have noticed if he is doing a bad job or otherwise but I thought he was a pretty good manager, good enough for Hartlepool anyway.
