I have to plead guilty on that one. I’ve covered Rangers extensively away from the BBC and most of what I’ve written or contributed to in the last few years has been seen as negative.
On 606 I’m actually careful about what I say and try to be a bit more upbeat, so if the negativity is coming through even here that says a lot. I’m sorry if I've seemed too negative.

I’m actually getting on better with the club now than in the past, so that isn’t an issue.
I’ve never really had a good relationship with them but Ben Kosky, who works for one of the local papers, has always had a better relationship and given them positive coverage and even he now gets criticised for being negative. So it’s never about noses being put out of joint or a media grudge against QPR, which I sense many fans believe exists.
You're not the first person recently to say that my tone's changed. It's not that my perspective has changed, the discussions have. I might not have seemed so negative before simply because it never came up!
In the past the club has been very well respected and got very positive (if sometimes a bit patronising) coverage. But Rangers have generally had appalling press in recent years and I know many fans blame the media for that.
It would be nice to see them get more positive coverage in future and on 606 I have tried to be positive when possible because I know people generally prefer that.

Thanks for the comments – although I always point people towards WATRB for rumours, transfer stuff etc. And it’s almost always positive stuff about Rangers too.
