As noted elsewhere, we have a couple more days to sign (or sell) players: Window kept open till Feb 2. Now I don't care about "almost signed" and excuses, etc, etc. Bottom line: How many players will we sign? How many loans; how many permanent? And how much will we pay in transfer fees? (And any sales?)
Football League - TRANSFER WINDOW EXTENDED
The Football League, Premier League and Football Association have agreed to push the transfer deadline back to 5pm on 2nd February.
This decision has been taken because January 31 falls on a Saturday and, in order to fall in line with procedures adopted by Foreign Associations, the closure has been moved from a weekend date to the first available week day.
This is consistent with the decision taken in August when the deadline was extended to 1st September and has the support of the majority of national associations and European Leagues.

One post on my blog, which I'll copy paste here. (There may be some disagreement with some of the comments):
"Anyone given any thought to the transfer window? I would like to see a top class goalkeeper, two full backs, a centre half and a couple of strikers come in. Out must go Cook (back to Fulham) who frequently flatters to deceive, Rowlands who is way past his limited best, Agyemang (why did we ever sign him?) Connelly who is not up to the job, Cerny who couldn't catch a bus and Gorkss who is almost as bad as Rehman. And THAT'S bad! "
