League clubs in battle for talented youngster Shroot

A host of clubs are battling to secure the signature of non-league starlet Robin Shroot, skysports.com understands.
The 20-year-old is currently grabbing the headlines at Ryman Premier League side Harrow Borough this term.
The talented midfielder has scored 11 goals in 14 games and has wowed a host of scouts from clubs throughout the divisions.
Now skysports.com understands up to 12 clubs are battling it out to get their hands on Shroot.
Shroot, likened to Darren Anderton, began his career as a teenager with Wimbledon before their move to Milton Keynes.
He then joined Staines and AFC Wimbledon, before linking up with Harrow via the Jamie Lawrence Academy, which specialises in helping young players who have been released from league club.
Now Shroot looks set for his big chance again with the likes of Birmingham, Derby, Charlton, Coventry, Queens Park Rangers, Swindon, Peterborough, Hartlepool, Darlington, Dagenham & Redbridge, Barnet and Wycombe all keen on taking him.
Harrow would not stand in Shroot's way as they are happy to see their players progress to the professional ranks.
Only last year Barnet beat a host of clubs to take Albert Adomah from the Earlsmead Stadium.
Talent
Harrow boss David Howell admits that Shroot could very well be on the way soon.
"Albert Adomah [now at Barnet] was an explosive talent who got people off their feet. But Robin does it in a different way. He has great control and technique. Robin is very skillful and a natural footballer," said Howell.
"Robin's attitude is spot on and he just wants to play football. He knew he was being watched but he didn't get nervous. It didn't make any difference.
"If he is here at Christmas I will be very happy but if he is gone I will also be happy
