According to QPR Italia From QPR Italia Blog "Breaking news! - In the next Viareggio tournament, known also as "Coppa Carnevale", and from this year known as "Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament </a>- Coppa Carnevale", there will be the QPR young team! - It's a great chance for Italians to watch the young Hoops in one of the most important youth tournament in all world. - The entire list of participants is not known, but QPR will surely be in the tournament. - Inter (last winner), Juventus (winner from 2003 to 2005) and Milan are other predictable participants, along with the best european and south american youth teams. - The Tournament will take place from 9 to 23 February 2009 in the Stadio dei Pini in Viareggio (that will also host the final) and in several sports grounds in Lucca's province or close to it - So, we'll be in touch to know precisely grounds and dates of the QPR matches, in the meantime we'll grow eager to watch our youth team and we're preparing our voices to make them feel our support. Nice Italian break in Feb wouldn't go amiss. Take the missus and "accidently" discover that is on, could be excellent! Good test for the boys tonight and how well our "CoE" competes against an equivalent club that runs a full blown Academy. This is what we should have anyway but don't despite the bluster of a year ago. Can't see us winning but good luck to the boys.
