, Woods was signed by Tommy Docherty from Nottingham Forest for 250,000 pounds - before he'd played a League game (although he had played a League Cup Final), Woods played a season and a half for QPR before Terry Venables sold him on to Norwich - probably Venables' biggest transfer mistake he made at QPR. (Venables then went out and bought John Burridge: Good but no England Goalie). After QPR, Woods played 43 times for England.
