Hodgson hails consistency
Fulham boss believes consistency is key after picking up top gong

The Cottagers boss won the coveted award after his side enjoyed an unbeaten month, picking up eight points from four games.
The Cottagers beat Hull City and Liverpool at home as well as registering 2-2 draws at both West Ham and then Manchester City.
Hodgson told his club's official website: "It feels very good and it's a great honour.
"But of course it's an honour for the club, the team, and the staff, but it's nice to be the person receiving the award.
Appreciated
"It's always very nice to be appreciated by people within the game and the people making the judgements.
"To win the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month Trophy is something I'm very proud of and very happy with."
He added: "I think the important thing for all teams is to try and develop some degree of consistency so you know exactly what type of performance your players are likely to give you in all of the games you play in.
"There's no doubt that the Barclays Premier League is getting tougher and tougher to survive in.
"More and more money is being spent by the teams coming into the league and much more investment is being made than perhaps was done in the past.
Hard work
"The statement that you need to invest more is probably a true one but it's nice to think that hard work and a good bunch of players who work hard for each other and the team are capable of surviving in the league.
"We've got a good group of players here and it's important to keep them together. I believe that if we can keep people fit the squad we have at the moment is capable of going through the season and doing what we would like to do with the season."
Hodgson is now focusing on the clash against Wigan at the DW Stadium on Sunday and believes his side will have to dig deep to pull off a result after playing Liverpool and then Roma in the Europa League this week.
"We'll be stronger as a squad on Sunday than we were going to Roma," he said.
"We've got a tough task ahead of us trying to get a result up in Wigan, especially in a week like this one, with Liverpool and Roma preceding the match but that's the task ahead and the task we're preparing for."
