So many clubs helping on this very worthy cause and being mentioned. And yet one club.....

CLUBS BACKING HELP FOR HEROES
October's action ....
October was the first full month for clubs to launch their Help for Heroes support and Doncaster Rovers, Cardiff City and Bristol Rovers were the quickest off the mark to organise fund raising events.
Staff from Doncaster Rovers undertook a sponsored run with Doncaster Civic Office on October 2 whilst on the same day, community coach Joe Burton joined a Help for Heroes event in Doncaster that saw himself and others run stages of a full marathon on a treadmill.
In Wales, Cardiff City welcomed their heroes from the Welsh Guards home prior to kick-off against Crystal Palace. Around 26,000 fans rose to their feet to honour the regiment that had just returned from the battlefields of Afghanistan. They were also given a lap of honour before the game.
In the southwest, Bristol Rovers designated their clash against Leeds United on October 27 a Help for Heroes fixture. Members of the RAF's 216 Squadron held a bucket collection at the game. In addition, Corporal Tom Neathway, who appeared in the BBC One documentary Wounded was guest of honour at the game.
Coming up in November ....
November brings a whole host of Help for Heroes action across The Football League with a total of 14 clubs so far announcing their plans to boost the much needed funds for injured servicemen and women.
Derby County kick-off this month's action with the club running a discounted ticket service for members of the Forces for the visit of Coventry City on November 6. The local army regiment, the Mercian regiment, will be performing a pre-game guard of honour and a percentage of ticket sales will go straight to Help for Heroes.
A day later, Derby's East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest are offering tickets to members of the Army, Navy, RAF and the TA for just £5 when Bristol City visit the City Ground, whilst also on November 7, Blackpool are staging an Armed Forces day to coincide with their game against Sc**thorpe United.
Also on the 7th, Carlisle United are inviting Cumbrian soldiers who have returned home from Afghanistan or Iraq to be Guests of Honour at the club's FA Cup tie with Morecambe. The soldiers will receive free seats for the game and will be honoured with a half-time pitch parade in full uniform.
Reading's Madejski Stadium is hosting a celebrity charity football match on November 12 to support Help for Heroes. The game will see an England team take on a Rest of the World XI.
Wycombe Wanderers' visit to the Galpharm Stadium on November 14 will be Huddersfield Town's Help for Heroes game with complimentary admission being offered to several official ex-servicemen with current forces personnel and their families being offered discounted tickets for the game. In addition, the Yorkshire Regiment will be at the game to provide a Guard of Honour as the teams run out.
On the same day in Hampshire, Aldershot Town are staging a Help for Heroes day as the club welcome Macclesfield Town. Town hope to have representatives from the Forces at the game.
Staying in Hampshire, Southampton are running a discounted ticket promotion for the Brighton & Hove Albion game on November 15 which is open to all serving Armed Forces personnel who can purchase a ticket for just £10.
November 21 sees Sheffield United hold a Forces Day for the visit of Peterborough United, with tickets for military personnel going for £5, with £1 going directly to Help for Heroes. In total, the club has 3,000 tickets on offer for the Forces.
On the same day, Millwall have designated the visit of Wycombe Wanderers as a Help for Heroes focus match. The club will be releasing more details in the run-up to the game.
And not forgetting ....
Coventry City, Leyton Orient and Northampton Town are still offering concessionary tickets for the Armed Forces throughout November.
Also, MK Dons midfielder Peter Leven's is this month continuing his support of Help for Heroes by donating £5 to the charity for every goal he scores for the team. Leven has also received donations from the club, his fellow team mates and supporters. At the end of October his campaign had raised just shy of £1,000.
