So he should be good for another or game or two before...Watford Official SiteHEIDAR BACK IN CONTENTION Fri 30 Oct 2009 FANS' favourite Heidar Helguson is back fit and ready for first-team football according to Watford boss Malky Mackay.
The striker has been missing since limping off against Leicester City in September, after scoring a brace on his return to Vicarage Road.
After intensive treatment from the Hornets' medical team and use of the 'Kriotherapy' chamber at Champneys Health Resort in Tring, the Iceland striker is ready for business once more.
Malky said: "Heidar is involved and available.
"He's trained well and it's a big boost to the squad that we have got him back amongst our group."American centre half Jay DeMerit is still unavailable following his eye surgery. Goalkeeper Richard Lee will again miss out for the Hornets, after failing to recover from a knee injury. Rookie stopper Jonathan Bond is again expected to again take his place on the bench.
