With our club, you might now have seen Magilton's last home game in charge Official Site MAGILTON: 'WE'RE REALLY DISAPPOINTED' Posted on: Tue 15 Sep 2009 Jim Magilton was left 'utterly disappointed,' as the R's Championship fixture against Crystal Palace fell victim to the adverse weather conditions in W12 tonight (Tuesday). Speaking just moments after referee Mr Mick Russell made his decision to postpone the match, Magilton told http://www.qpr.co.uk: "We've been guided by the safety officer and the referee. "The rain hasn't stopped all afternoon - the groundsman and his staff have done everything they can to get the game on, but unfortunately the weather has won today." Magilton added: "We apologise to the fans that were looking forward to a good game, both our own and the Palace faithful. "We were really looking forward to it ourselves, so we're bitterly disappointed. "It's just one of those things though. It was a home game and we were looking forward to it, but we've got to accept the decision." www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1798225,00.html
