You heard it here, first! [Edit: Actually checking, I see you didn't hear it here first! But you haven't heard it from the Official site, yet) Northampton Caretaker Manager, Ian Sampson "...In terms of loans, Ben Marshall is still with us for a while yet but Romone Rose has gone back to QPR." www.ntfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10425~1791626,00.html

Not wishing to be down on the lad but he couldn't get into the Histon team when on loan there and now a similar situation at Northampton. Perhaps other clubs are better talent spotters than us, after all we havn't produced anything for a very long time. Seems we value physical play and agresssion more than technique - in my opinion.

Think of all the players who have come up and moved on in the past decade: So many highly touted...On one handful, just about, the ones who made it at our level, or even in the League.

If we had a young Messi, a young Ronaldo, a young Kaka and a headless chicken in our youth team who do you think they'd pick for a pro contract.
I'll give you a clue - he comes from Kiev and says cluck cluck cluck.

Prefer Chicken Milanese, Cacciatore, Bolognese, Marsala, a little more geographic.

Would love chicken, but sadly most of ours seem to be turkeys...
