Football LEague - THE NOMINATIONS ARE IN

In the Coca-Championship just four teams remained unbeaten at the end of August and it's no surprise that the Manager's of those teams are nominated for the first Coca-Cola Manager of the Month awards.
Preston North End have won two and drawn three of their opening five games and even came from 2-0 down on the opening day to draw 2-2 with Bristol City.
The wins came away at Barnsley and home to Peterborough, while they also beat Morecambe and Leicester City in the Carling Cup.
Roberto Di Matteo and West Bromwich Albion have adapted well to life in the Championship, winning three and drawing twice so far.
They were held to draws by Newcastle United and Sheffield United in August but secured wins away at Nottingham Forest and Peterborough and at home to Ipswich Town. They are also still in the Carling Cup after beating League 2 Bury and Rotherham United.
Kevin Blackwell's Sheffield United side have continued where they left off last season, also drawing three and winning two of their matches so far.
The draws came against Middlesbrough, Leicester and West Brom, while they have beaten Watford home and Reading 3-1 at the Madejski Stadium.
Chris Hughton has guided Newcastle United to four wins and one draw, as they sit top of the table two points clear of their nearest rivals.
After drawing their opening game with West Brom they have gone on to secure home wins over Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester as well as picking up all three points with a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.
They are also still in the Carling Cup after beating Huddersfield Town in the last round.
In Coca-Cola League 1 two sides still hold 100% records in Leeds United and Charlton Athletic so understandably both Managers are up for the August award.
Phil Parkinson's side currently sit top of the table on goal difference after scoring 15 and conceding just three so far.
Their wins have come at home against Wycombe Wanderers and Walsall while they have beaten Hartlepool United, Leyton Orient and Tranmere Rovers on the road.
Leeds United took their tally of consecutive home wins to 14 on Saturday with their win over Stockport but in August they beat Exeter City and Tranmere Rovers at home and won away at Wycombe, Walsall and Colchester United. They also beat Darlington and Watford in the Carling Cup.
Andy Scott's Brentford have had an excellent start to life back in League 1 with two wins and three draws in August.
They started the campaign with a 3-1 win at Carlisle United and went on to beat Norwich City. They have also picked up draws against Brighton & Hove Albion, Southampton and Oldham Athletic.
Paul Ince makes up the four nominees after his MK Dons side recovered from their two goalless draws against Hartlepool United and Swindon Town to beat Tranmere, Colchester and Exeter .
Ince only returned to the stadiummk in the summer but he has settled back in to the old routine which saw him guide the Dons to promotion from League 2.
In Coca Cola League 2 the division has been a lot tighter, with no one still unbeaten in the league.
Rotherham United and Bournemouth both sit top of the table on 15 points and had a great month in August, which has seen their Manager's nominated.
Mark Robins led the Millers to four wins and one defeat in the first month, with the victories coming over Accrington Stanley, Grimsby Town, Rochdale and Macclesfield Town, while their only league defeat came at the hands of Bournemouth.
The Cherries boss Eddie Howe has also continued where he left off at the end of last season, when they avoided relegation with three wins from their last three matches.
In August as well as beating Rotherham they secured wins over Bury, Aldershot Town and Crewe Alexandra while their only league defeat came at Northampton Town.
Ian Hendon has also settled in well to life in management, after replacing Paul Fairclough at Barnet in December. Last month they won three, drew one and lost one, with their only defeat coming on the opening day of the campaign at Lincoln City.
Since then they have beaten Morecambe, Torquay United and Notts County and drawn 2-2 with Shrewsbury.
Dagenham & Redbridge boss John Still makes up the quartet after his side won four and lost one.
Their only defeat so far has come against Notts County but they scored five in consecutive games beating Torquay 5-3 and Shrewsbury 5-0. They have also beaten Crewe and Lincoln.
The winners will be announced on Gillette Soccer Saturday from Midday this Saturday on Sky Sports News.
