Who benefits from these spurious bids? For the life of me I can't work out why our esteemed Sporting Director feels the need to leak disinformation and spurious bids/offers via his proxy website, The London Informer, Sky Sports News, the Beeb and various lackeys.
He obviously goes to a fair bit of trouble making up these stories and feeding them to the media and fans but why? and how does it benefit Queen's Park Rangers Football Club?

Could be worse. Could have a propaganda effort attempting to spin and sway, silence and smear
Meanwhile one of Dowie's reported targets, Clint Morrison doesn't seem to be doing too badly. (Not to mention Holloway's former target, Ebanks-Blake who's done quite nicely)

But why claim to have made a firm offer when at best it's an enquiry?

The Ebanks Blake episode says all that needs to be said about Gianni Paladini. One of hundreds of episodes of "incompetence" or something more sinister unfortunately. Only the fools are fooled by that "Character"

But why publicly claim to have made a firm offer when at best it's an enquiry? In any one instance, can never know for sure. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding. Perhaps his mouth getting ahead of his mind. Perhaps the Sc**thorpe Chairman is the one "in error."

But Mike, it's not just this one time is it. All the players I listed plus Phillips, if memory serves me right have been subject to our phantom bids.

Oh I know it's not just this one time. I'm saying that in any one case, can never know for sure - if it's just a he said/she said case. It's when you mount up all the other times. How many times does this happen, and every time, it's just poor Gianni being misunderstood, or being the wronged party.

The question really is, how did the story make a late breaking news stroy on SSN?
If we did make a bid why alert every other club to the fact?
If it was a passing conversation at the game why mention it at all?
Nothing makes sense except there seems to be too many fools making fools of our club.

Not sure about when it broke but later on SSN they directly quoted Gianni, and as fools go...
