PA Sport November 26, 2008 Harford fury after loss Luton boss Mick Harford locked his players in the dressing room for 45 minutes after the 1-0 loss to Brentford left the Hatters in deep trouble at the bottom of League Two.Nathan Elder's 29th-minute goal was enough to give the Bees victory, but only a string of saves from Conrad Logan kept the score down. To make matters worse for the hosts, skipper Keith Keane was controversially sent off five minutes from time for a professional foul. Harford said: "The first half was very, very poor and I told the players at half-time how bad it was. The second half was better without the cutting edge, but we've just had a 45-minute discussion afterwards about what's happening here." He added: "The players are still telling me they've got the belief and the desire and the passion to turn it around. But it's a desperate situation and I've got to be honest with them now. We've lost eight games and on that form we're not going to get out of it." Harford was also critical of the decision to send off Keane at the death and added: "It wasn't a foul. The boy knocked it too far ahead of himself and took a dive. It was never a sending off but we're just not getting the breaks at the moment."
