It's been rumoured on the messageboards. This from South Wales Echo Aug 29 2009 by Terry Phillips, South Wales Echo Dave Jones to keep up pressure on Peter Ridsdale DAVE Jones will keep hounding Bluebirds’ chairman Peter Ridsdale until the transfer window closes at 5pm next Tuesday. Manager Jones has signed seven new players since the end of last season, but looks unlikely to be strengthening his squad further. He would love, to, of course, and says: “I will keep hounding the chairman on players. “I will always want to strengthen the squad.” Wing flyer Wayne Routledge is surely high on Jones’ wish-list, while Julian Gray, released by Fulham, has been on trial with the Bluebirds this week. Gray’s trial has been confirmed by Jones, but neither he nor Routledge will be joining City. Routledge is keen on a return to South Wales, but is on high wages at Queens Park Rangers, who apparently want £2m for the player....www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/football-columnists/2009/08/29/ninian-files-terry-phillips-91466-24558669/

Heard something about this a long time ago. Been our best player so far this season, but if he wants to play in The Premiership / do something in his career instead of being stuck at the circus, then good luck to him, I'm sure he could step it up another gear at Cardiff.
