Roy Keane has axed several members of his Ipswich squad and told them: 'You'll never play for me again.'
Keane's patience snapped after the club's nightmare start to the season. Ipswich have taken just one point from four Championship games and, on the eve of tonight's Carling Cup trip to Peterborough, the manager admitted he had seen enough.
Keane, who took charge in April, lost his rag after the 2-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
He refused to name names but admitted: 'There are one or two who played at the weekend who will never play for me again. Eventually you have to make a decision and I don't like what I have been seeing. This is not just based on Saturday but on the end of last season and pre-season as well. You can't keep waiting and you have to say enough is enough. And it's not personal - it is just time to move on.
You can't keep doing the same things every week and not get a result.'

But Keane rubbished claims that he and skipper Gareth McAuley, who was dropped at the weekend, have had a bust-up.
Keane, who has spent £4million on new players, added: 'I like Gareth and he was probably a bit unlucky to be on the bench on Saturday.'
Now Keane has only six days left in the transfer window to ship out the players he no longer wants and also bring in the replacements
