He will be available for free next season would not be surprised if Ken cashed in Leeds are still in poor condition off the pitch the 8 million or so they would get from the sale of Delph and Beckford would help.
Not sure the Leeds fans would be to happy though.

And perhaps a little more than just a rumour. But doesn't matter. They may have Cox and maybe Beckford + whoever they already have. We have Helguson,Pellicori, Agyemang - and you don't really need proflific goalscoring forwards. Shame we let Beckford get away from us...3-4 years agoBBC
Baggies put in offer for BeckfordWest Bromwich Albion have made a 'substantial' offer to Leeds United for striker Jermaine Beckford, BBC Radio Leeds understands. The 25-year-old is in the final year of his Elland Road contract and has only just been taken off the transfer list after failing to sign a new deal. West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo is keen to sign another striker and has bid around £2m, BBC WM reports. It is understood Wolves have also expressed an interest in the player. Beckford scored 34 goals for Leeds last season, helping them reach the League One play-off semi-finals. Leeds boss Simon Grayson had stated earlier this week that the club were prepared to keep Beckford for this season and risk him leaving on a free transfer at its end. Leeds hoped Beckford would score the goals that would get them promoted and then would agree a new deal at the club. West Brom's bid comes just days after Leeds lost their star midfielder Fabian Delph to Aston Villa for a fee believed to be at least £6m. Meanwhile Leeds have given a trial to 22-year-old Argentinean striker Mariano Tripodi, who currently plays for Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro. BBC Radio Leeds will have coverage of every single Leeds United game on 103.9 FM. news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/l/leeds_united/8185572.stm

Not sure why we'd be interested in Beckford when we don't need a striker!
But there's interest and there's interest. For the right price, I imagine we'd be "interested" in Beckham. We'd be interested in Crouch...Anyone.
The question is whether QPR are prepared to make a market-rate bid for Beckford (or someone else).
