QPR defender opens tattoo shop in Hatfield

A PROFESSIONAL footballer from Hatfield has opened a tattoo shop in his hometown.
Queens Park Rangers centre back Matthew Connolly launched his contemporary parlour - called C16, after his squad number - last month.
With the help of friend Michael Fontanoz, alongside artist, Trevor Mills, the Comet Way business is already attracting the masses.
In an exclusive interview, the former Arsenal reserves captain revealed to the Welwyn & Hatfield Times why he started the business and how his football career started in Hatfield.

The paper also focuses on how Trevor's 14 years of experience is helping the business flourish in this time of boom for tattoo parlours.
He told us that he "specialises in Japanese cover ups, re-colouring and re-doing previous tattoos" as well as creating extremely intricate designs.
