And pretty impressive: 10,250 Season Tickets Sold thus far Southampton Official Site
Saints break 10,000 barrier Posted on: Wed 29 Jul 2009 Saints have just sold their 10,000th Season Ticket for the new campaign as the record breaking surge continues... The arrival of new owner Markus Liebherr has given fans on the south coast something to smile about this summer and Season Ticket sales have since been boosted further by the appointment of new manager Alan Pardew. The Club was already delighted to announce on Monday that the number of season tickets sold so far had already exceeded the total number sold for last year, but today's fantastic new milestone has given everyone yet another reason to be cheerful! The stage looks set for a fantastic season of football in the 2009/10 campaign, and the Southampton team will be backed in force every time they turn out at St. Mary's. The deadline for existing season ticket holders wishing to renew their seats for the 2009/10 campaign is this Friday (31st July) by 5pm but, with 1 in 5 season tickets also being bought by fans who have not had one before, it's certainly not too late to be a part of the exiting new era at St. Mary's. Chief Operating Officer Andy Oldknow thanked supporters for the commitment they have shown so far, as the countdown to the big-kick off against Millwall on August 8th continues. "We are extremely impressed with the response that fans have shown since Markus Liebherr's arrival and we are delighted to have broken through the 10,000 season ticket barrier. "This is another fantastic demonstration of our supporter's optimism about the future of the club and an incredible milestone to have reached in such a short ammount of time," he said. www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1736877,00.html Ticket Deadline Day today "..Season Ticket sales have been phenomenal so far, with the tally currently standing at 10,250 sold, and fans have been keen to ensure they not only keep their seats but also take advantage of the discounted renewal rate." www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1738145,00.html

To be fair, we had our highest ever number of season ticket holders when we slipped back to the third tier.
Good luck to them, always been a great awayday but I did prefer the dell.

First Division Manager at age 29
True, true QPR Loyalist, who was around in different roles for decades.
(Has Parkinsons). The club should be doing more for him and other ex-QPRs in sense of bringing them to QPR

re Southampton: Presumably/Logically tomorrow's team will be the team that starts against Blackpool - with perhaps one or two minor adjustments.
