The Swans ended their summer tour to Spain by lifting the triangular tournament trophy at Sabadell on Monday.
There were a number of confused looks amongst players, staff and supporters of the Swans at the Nova Creu Alta stadium when it was revealed that Paulo Sousa's men finished top of the pile.
After drawing the first game 0-0 against Gimnastic it went to a penalty shootout to determine a winner - at least that is what everyone thought.
The side from Tarragona won the shootout 5-4 but it turned out that it would only stand if all three matches ended equally.
And following Gimnastic's 0-0 draw with the hosts top spot went to the Swans after picking up four points following the opening stalemate and the 2-1 win against the home side - Stephen Dobbie bagging a brace.
The Segunda side finished as runners-up with two points and Sabadell last with one.
[What happened to John Harbin? I don't see anything saying he actually joined Swansea?]
