Given that other sites seem to have "picked up" on this, I'll bump it!

Given that the quality of the players compared to today's squad: It shows even more what a great job Holloway did (These are mostly Holloway era signings - with a couple of exceptions )

- Probably would have continued to have done if not for circumstances. (And yes I've heard about his football!)

Envisage what he could have done with the money we have poured out in the past 3-4 years. (And with a real Assistant a la Kenny Jackett, and a scouting staff.).

Ah well. I got bored... Intresting to see that only Danny Shittu and Ian Evatt (?) have moved up in the world since leaving QPR. That says alot about the quality of the squad in 2006/7!

Looking through the list, Dominic Shimmin and Scott Donnelly seems to have bounced back alright.

Stats for the Class of 2006/7:

Premiership: 2 players
Still at QPR: 3 players
Championship: 1 player
League 1: 1 player
League 2: 2 players
Conference: 3 players
Level 6: 1 player
Level 7: 3 players
Abroad first league: 6 players
Abroad second league 1: player
Retired: 7 players (1 still at QPR)

So... out of 31 players, only 3 is still playing for the club 4 years later and only 7 still playing in the top 3 english leagues. As I said earlier: thats says alot about the quality of the squad in 2006/7, its amazing they could hold the club away from League 1!

Looking at our team today, its hard to see a simular development 4 years from now.
