We were interested in him...(at a time when he hadn't scored goals). So who's to say. Sounds very QPR!

oh great get rid of a 23 year old for 1-6 million who happens to have scored more goals last season than any other qpr player then sign a 27 year old who cant score a single goal in a season well done qpr

He's a good player with options, which is exactly why QPR wont be signing him.

Daryl Murphy is a better player than Dexter Blackstock, so is Marcus Tudgay, thats why Premiership clubs like Hull & Burnley want to sign them. Premiership clubs dont want to sign Dexter Blackstock, because he isnt Premiership class.
Dont get me wrong guys I'd like to see us signing good players like Murphy, Tudgay etc, but you have to be realistic about it, the last time these people brought real quality to the club & put their money where their mouths are was January 2008, its now July 2009, so please, lets be realistic about who we are going to sign because of how much money we do or dont have, & more pertinently who is doing the signings & what reputation they may or may not have in footballing circles & what if any effect ( if any ) this has on who we can & who we cant sign.
